Psychologist - Senior (Gayndah)

To deliver high level psychology assessment and management of patients, with a particular focus on improving the health outcomes and quality of life for those with complex chronic conditions through integrated care planning, assistance with patients psychological factors that impact on their condition and to facilitate chronic condition self-management.
To collaborate effectively with government and non-government agencies and other partners to facilitate an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to patient care that prevents unnecessary hospital admission and facilitates early discharge.
Contribute to the advancement of psychology and chronic condition services across rural facilities in the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service through the provision of clinical leadership for service development, quality improvement and education and research activities.
Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment up to 15th May 2022 with the possibility of extension.
Covid 19 Vaccination: It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccination prior to the 30th September 2021 and a second dose by 31st October 2021 to enter, work in or provide a service in any Wide Bay facility. Proof of vaccination will be required prior to commencement.

You will receive a competitive salary rates between $11,203 p.m., comprising salary rates between $4,302.20 - $4629.50 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment up to 15th May 2022 with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy).
